Stephanie Jordan Briody recently co-founded Behavioral Health Innovators, Inc., a non-profit corporation that creates innovative, high impact solutions for individuals and their loved ones who suffer from behavioral health disorders.

She entered this arena when her world was shaken to its very core by the death grip her son’s addiction had on him and their entire family. With no idea where to turn for help and very little understanding of the disease, they found their way to a new world of addiction treatment services. It has been a little over two years since she and her family staged an intervention for her then twenty-six (26) year old son. 

Prior to founding Behavioral Health Innovators, Inc. Stephanie was a practicing attorney and mediator whose law practice concentrated in medical, elder and disability law.  She has extensive experience in advocating for government services and benefits for individuals with cognitive, behavioral and mental health challenges. She also handled difficult and highly sensitive legal disputes regarding capacity and guardianship.

Through her work with Behavioral Health Innovators, Inc., she is committed to bringing together individuals with lived experiences with this disease and the best minds in the industry to create innovative solutions that will disrupt the scourge of substance use disorder in our country.
