Shahid Shah is a Government 2.0, Health IT, Medical Device Integration software expert with over 22 years of technology strategy, software engineering, entrepreneurship, speaking, and writing experience. He is a consultant to various federal agencies on IT matters and helped design and deploy the American Red Cross’s electronic health record solution across thousands of sites.  His expertise in the HIT doesn’t stop there: he’s built two web-based EMRs now in use by hundreds of physicians,  and helped design advanced clinical interfaces for medical devices and hospitals. Shahid also serves as a senior technology strategy advisor to NIH’s program helping small businesses commercialize their health care applications.
