Marnie de Mooij is a Service Designer at the Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation where she designs tools and interactions aimed at improving the experiences of patients, their families, and care team members. Her passion is developing services and systems that reposition the role of patient from being a passive consumer of care to being an active participant within their care experience.  She was the lead designer on the OB Nest project, a project aimed to re-imagine low-risk prenatal care as a wellness experience. Other career highlights have been projects that have explored college student health and wellbeing, provider wellbeing and clerical burden reduction, and patient-centered care planning.
